July 16 Patch Notes

Balance Changes

  • Fist Warrior
    • We’ve received many complaints that Aura of Fury becomes too OP when it is constantly & instantly renewed by having several Fists in the party cast it at the appropriate times. Because of these complaints we have made the following changes to it:
      • Aura of Fury is now a self-buff, instead of a party buff.
      • Aura of Fury no longer requires a party to be used.
      • We have reduced the cooldown of Aura of Fury by 30%.
    • We have removed the “Root” ability from the Hyperion set. Instead, Fist Warriors now have a chance to activate the “Aura of Fury” buff for 3 seconds when using Soul Fist with at least 4 pieces of the Hyperion set equipped.
  • Red Mages
    • Red Touch now reduces ALL flat magic defense by 375 (this hasn’t changed) and ALL percent magic defense by 6% (instead of 12%).
    • Red Mages now receive 2 AP per red instead of 1.7.
    • Helios staff base AP has been increased by 100.
    • Vast Staff Grade 4 Maximum Damage has been reduced by 100.
  • Blue Mages
    • Black Touch can no longer be replaced by Red Touch, but Red Touch CAN be replaced Black Touch.
    • The Glacies Stick effect has changed, instead of causing a Critical (x2 damage) it now causes a damage multiplier of 50%.
    • The Boreas Stick effect has changed, instead of causing a Critical (x2 damage) it now causes a damage multiplier of 60%.

 

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where 200+ users were able to do damage to monsters on Rock Island (killing them faster).
  • Fixed a bug where users were able to PvP members of the same nation on Hau Island AFTER the Hau event ended.
  • Fixed a bug where Physical Attack was able to be added to the Valkyrie Protector & Guardian Protector, the stat has been automatically removed from protectors if they had it.
  • We would like to remind everyone that if you find a game experience ruining bug (such as Rock Island & Hau), it should be reported. If you continue to use it, you are considered to be exploiting a bug which is clearly against the Terms of Service (of any game).
