Halloween Event & October 18 Patch Notes

General Changes

• Various localization changes related to upgrading items.
• Players can now close the Equipment interface while viewing an NPC store.
• When upgrading an item, the system now displays the stat, current level, and target level attempted (whether the upgrade was successful or not).
• Inside Catastropha Cavern, a timer now appears at the top of your screen, showing how many minutes remain until the event ends (similar to instances).
• Speaking to "Leckie" when the Catastropha Cavern event is inactive now shows the total number of Gold Egg Shells used.
• Gold Egg Shells can now stack up to 200 (previously 100).
• Players can now view more detailed information about their advanced skills (Apprentice, Master, & Transformation) by hovering over the skill.
  • If the skill is at level 0, it displays level 1 information. This information updates automatically as the skill levels up.
• When a party member gets the loot from an instance boss but nothing is actually dropped, it now displays the name of the player who got nothing (previously, it just said nothing was dropped).
• The Event Merchant's store has been converted into a "Cost Package" store.
• The Turf Exchange has also been converted into a "Cost Package" store.
• The Turf Exchange can now be used to purchase gem pouches, with a fee of the normal number of tokens + 2M Leni.
• A Turf Exchange NPC has been added to Vylock and Rampao Storage.
• Dropped items now remain on the ground for 90 seconds before vanishing (previously 60 seconds).
• Fixed an issue preventing transmogged items with level 12 glows (such as transmogging a Katanium Claw with an Acord Gauntlet) from displaying properly.
• Fixed additional NPC teleport locations that were causing some players to appear on objects, high in the sky, or under the ground.
• Fixed an issue that caused tribe applicants to be marked as both applicants and banned applicants after a server restart.
• When leaving a tribe and trying to join another, the system now displays how many minutes are left until your cooldown is over.
• Stores that use non-Leni currencies (such as Turf Cash) now display your current balance in the store window.
• Fixed some minor interface display issues.
• Fixed an issue with apprentice skills where distance-based skills could be cast outside of their range (this was purely visual).
• Fixed an issue causing the client to freeze or crash when pasting long messages into an input (such as in the Auto Upgrade stat input).
• Reduced the height players jump while walking only, fixing an issue where players would "land" in mid-air on other players' screens and gradually ascend higher.

October 19 Patch Notes

• We've translated more of the Advanced Skills localizations into Korean.
• Fixed a missing localization with the Quiver Enchanter NPC.
• Fixed an issue with yesterdays update that caused some weapons to now glow (such as Mystic Bows).
• The Auto Upgrade Interface now allows you to copy and paste any string, and it removes all non-numeric strings. For example, pasting "CONFIRM 20" would make the input value 20.
• The Turf Exchange Leni cost for pouches has been reduced to 1.5M instead of 2M.
• Fixed an issue where the Cost Package Store & Auto Upgrade Interface would cause your controls to lock up if you had the input highlighted when closing the interface.
• When you purchase an item that costs multiple items (such as with a Cost Package store) it now checks if you have enough room for the quantity you entered, if not it purchase the maximum you can fit in your inventory.
  • If you purchased many items between the last update and todays update and they are in your mailbox, please open a ticket and we will resolve the issue for you.

Halloween Event

It's that spooky time of year again, and Turf Battles is ready to celebrate! From now until November 8th, enjoy the following event content:

• Visit the Event Chest in the center of Ladianes City once a day for a chance to find an Event Chocolate or a Halloween Card.
• The "Halloween Haunt" daily quest is back! Speak to the Haunted Child at the Ruined Graveyard in Veros to start the quest.
  • To reach this NPC, visit the "Scary Child" in Ladianes City, located next to the Event Chest.
  • Completing this quest rewards you with 1 Event Chocolate and 1 Halloween Card.
• Consume your Event Chocolates to receive a 30-minute, 10% drop rate buff during the event.
• Collect 20 Halloween Cards to unlock the "Blue Devil" costume, or save your Halloween Cards and purchase directly with TC.
• Get in the spooky spirit by dressing up in some festive cosmetics!
  • The Blue, Red, and Black Devil costumes are available for purchase once again in the cosmetic interface.
  • A new Witches Hat cosmetic is now available in the cosmetic interface.
• During the event, the Pet Boss Spawn Events will occur randomly every 2-4 days, offering a chance to obtain the following pets:
  • Pumpkin Pet (Common)
  • Spooky Pumpkin Pet (Rare)
  • Zombie Pumpkin Pet (Very Rare)
• Check out the newest addition to the Pet Interface—the Skull Bat, now available for purchase.
• Already unlocked your Blue Devil costume? Trade in unwanted Halloween Cards for Event Coupons at the Event Merchant, which can be used to buy an Event Gift Box.
• Event Gift Boxes will award the player with 1 of the following items:
