May 24 Patch Notes

General Changes

• We've made a change to help fix an issue where some users (3-5 users) were downloading an outdated (cached) version of patch files like BID.dat from their internet provider. This was resulting in those players not being able to login due to improperly updated files.
• The combat cooldown in PvP areas no longer refreshes when taking AOE damage — it now only resets when hit by targeted attacks.
• Since we added the combat cooldown for leaving PvP areas via NPCs, we've reduced the teleport cooldown to 10 seconds (previously 15 seconds).
• Fixed a hole in the Frozenland map, on the hill going to Juma, that caused players to get stuck if they fell in.

Nation Content Changes

• Nephilim Female characters now correctly use the Veros costume instead of the Ladianes costume.
• Fixed a bug where some players saw a message saying they were already registered, even when they weren't.
• Players from the same nation now appear as green dots on the mini-map, similar to party members outside of nation content.
• Boss icons now show the locations of enemy nation bosses (including Hau) on the mini-map; the icons disappear once the bosses are defeated.
• During the Nation War, players now earn 1 Honor Badge per 5,000,000 monster damage, up to a maximum of 5 badges (was up to 10).
• During the Nation War, players now earn 1 Honor Badge per unique player kill, up to a maximum of 10 badges (was 1 per 5 kills, up to 10).
• During the Hau Event, players now earn 1 Honor Badge per 5,000,000 monster damage, up to a maximum of 4 badges (was 1 per 10,000,000, up to 3).
• During the Hau Event, players now earn 1 Honor Badge per unique player kill, up to a maximum of 8 badges (was 1 per 5 kills, up to 5).
• To protect anonymity during nation-based content, the following additional changes now apply only while inside active nation content (Nation War & Hau):
  • Pets appear as a Fire Princess for Veros and an Ice Princess for Ladianes.
  • Ally names are hidden.
  • Players can no longer view the equipment of their allies.
  • Player interaction dialogs that reveal names (like exchange) are disabled.
  • Party members do not appear on the mini-map.
  • No health updates are shown for party members.
  • Any Nation War Crystal can now be used to enter, regardless of your nation.
  • Nation icons of other players are hidden outside of nation content; you can still see your own.
