January 3 Patch Notes

General Changes

• Fixed a race condition during the Coliseum event where the final player to defeat the last remaining enemy could be teleported out of the Coliseum before certain kill related checks were completed (such as fame reduction).
  • This was most likely the cause of some users losing fame at the end of their Coliseum battles, as they were no longer actually in the Coliseum when the kill checks occurred.
  • Added detailed logging for fame loss, allowing us to accurately track when, where, and to whom fame is lost in the future.
• Added some logging to help find the cause of the login issue that occurs once every 2-3 days (where players are told their client is outdated).

Coliseum Changes

• Players will now continue to receive the participation prompt at each countdown interval until they explicitly select Yes or No, even if the prompt was previously closed somehow.
• Fixed an issue where players who had reached the registration expiration threshold were prompted to participate, but were unregistered once the event began.
  • This was causing players to think they were skipped for no reason, but the reason was they reached their registration expiration threshold (but were not notified).
• Players will now receive a notification at the start of each event when they are within five events of reaching the registration expiration threshold.
• Players are now notified when they have been unregistered from an event due to reaching the registration expiration threshold.
