One thousand years has passed since those who survived the violet mist fled to the Isle of Fuan. Although the original survivors have long since passed away, their descendant's live on with the hopes of one day venturing back to Fomalhaut and reclaiming their rightful homes. Determined to one day see the land of their dreams, the Human & Nephilim began to plan their return to their homeland.

 

Sadly, their ancestors warned them of what they saw whilst they fled Fomalhaut. They know of the dangers of returning, they know to fear the current monstrous inhabitants of Fomalhaut, and they know to fear the violet mist. Regardless of the risk, recent generations of Human & Nephilim have been sending exploration parties to Fomalhaut, to see if the violet mist is gone.

 

For many years, no search party had ever returned from Fomalhaut, but the determination of Veros & Ladianes was not easily waivered. Both nations continued to train their soldiers for when the violet mist is no longer a threat, they do this to prepare to take Fomalhaut back from the monsters the mist would leave behind.

 

Recently a search party returned from Fomalhaut, bringing both good and bad news. The violet mist has disappeared, and the lands have already begun to flourish back to life. However, their ancestor's warnings were not only true, but worse than expected. Fomalhaut is occupied in every corner by dangerous creatures, monstrous mutations, their zombie ancestors, and even more menacing beings.

 

Against all odds the Veros & Ladianes nation took back their main cities from the evil inside of them. Now both nations are using the resources within Fomalhaut to fight off the remaining monsters, discovering new lands as they defeat each enemy. As new lands are found, tribes are formed and alliances are made to claim as much of the land as possible.

 

Forgotten grievances have begun to re-appear, but the tale of the War of Old is all but forgotten. So as the race for resources & land begins, one chant echoes through the air:

 

Peace is forgotten, war is at hand.

Heroes become legends and tribes will rule the land.

Through the mist of our memories, one thing stands out clear.
