FAQ
- What are season channels?
- Season channels are similar to season servers (something that we previously hosted). The key difference here is that they are not a separate server, but instead, they are separate channels on the existing Mystic & Triumphus servers that can ONLY be accessed by season characters. This allows players to start new characters and progress without being obligated to compete with already fully geared players/tribes right away, while at the same time not splitting each server in to a new server.
- What are season characters?
- Season characters are characters that are created during a season. Season characters can log in to both non-season channels and season channels (but non-season characters cannot enter season channels). Players can choose to create a season character or non-season character during the character creation process. Players will have a red “s” icon next to their name if they are a season character.
- Can season characters party/trade non-season characters?
- No, no matter what channel you are on, you will not be able to party, trade, or use booths for characters that are of different types. This means that season characters cannot party, trade, or use booths with non-season characters, and non-season characters cannot party, trade, or use booths with season characters.
- What happens to our season characters and items when a season ends?
- Season characters (and all the items on them) are automatically converted into non-season characters/items when a season ends. They will no longer be able to enter season channels, but you will still be able to use them on non-season channels. They will essentially become, non-season characters.
- Why are season characters allowed to go on non-season channels?
- We are allowing season characters to enter non-season channels so that they can still PvP and interact with non-season characters in a competitive and social way. However, they will not be able to earn any real benefit from each other (they CANNOT obtain each other's items and CANNOT give each other experience).
- How many season channels will there be per server?
- Each server will have 2 season channels, for a total of 5 channels per server (3 non-season channels, and 2 season channels)
- Will Seasons have any additional incentives to play on them?
- Seasons inherently provide players with various incentives, such as:
- A more equal playing field between new and old players.
- Access to additional channels, and thus resources/farming areas.
- Participation in more events, as season characters can engage in both season and non-season events.
- In addition, season characters will receive various buffs/boosts and exclusive content (see the above mentioned notes for more information).
- Seasons inherently provide players with various incentives, such as:
- Will Season Channels have their own events?
- Yes, Season Channels will have their own events, but season characters can also participate in non-season channel events.
- This means that 2 different tribes might be the Lords of Ladianes on the same server, and 2 different nations might win the Nation War on the same server. One winner would be for non-season channels, and one winner would be for season channels.
- How long will each season last?
- Each season will last 3 months and have a 3+ month cooldown before the next season starts. The durations and cooldowns of each season may change as needed.

- General Changes
- August 1 Patch Notes
- General Changes
- Fixed a visual issue where, after resetting stats, allocated stat points could still appear assigned until the client was refreshed. This was purely a display issue and did not affect your character's actual stats.
- Fixed an issue where the Tornado, Ghost Castle, and Catastropha Island Evangelin bosses incorrectly shared the same health, stats, and drops as the monsters on their respective turfs.
- Fixed a visual issue that could cause buff effects to remain visible after death under rare circumstances. This was a display-only issue.
- Corrected the wing placement and size for all four newly added wings across every race/gender.
- Reduced HP regeneration for all instance monsters and bosses by 50%.
- Added a new Pets Guide to the website's Game Guides section: https://www.turfbattles.eonicgames.com/game-guide/pets
- Added and updated missing localization across multiple languages.
- Fixed an issue that caused quest items received through the Mailbox to have 0 durability after a server restart.
- Fixed an issue where Pet Island was using the incorrect difficulty bracket, causing it to reward G3 Tokens instead of G4 Tokens.
- Fixed an issue that caused one of the servers to lock up earlier this morning.
- Fixed an issue with the boss spawn events that caused the server to lock up earlier today.
- Pet Daycare Changes
- Boss monsters defeated within 100 levels of a player now award twice as much Daycare Time as normal monsters (40 seconds).
- Players in a party now receive 50% of the normal Daycare Time reward when a nearby party member defeats a monster that is within 100 levels of both the killer and the receiving player. Previously, party members received no Daycare Time.
- Players with an active subscription now earn 50% more Daycare Time from all sources.
- Monsters
- We've made several improvements to how monsters detect, attack, and pursue players. Most encounters should feel the same, but monsters will now respect walls and map layouts more consistently.
- Walls now work both ways. If a wall prevents a monster from seeing or attacking you, attacks from that position will no longer damage the monster, apply skill effects, or cause it to target you. This also applies to splash and AOE damage.
- Aggro now considers line of sight and pathing. Monsters will only acquire a new target when they can see the player and have a valid route to them.
- Chasing now uses actual walking distance. The game considers how far a monster must travel around walls and through corridors, not only the straight-line distance between the monster and player.
- Monsters will stop pursuing unreachable targets. If no valid route exists, or the route is longer than the game's view distance, the monster will drop or refuse the target. This should prevent unusual pulls through maze-like areas such as Delphiroth.
- Monsters can still chase around nearby obstacles. Losing direct line of sight does not necessarily reset an encounter. An already-engaged monster may follow you around a wall when a reasonably short route exists.
- Stationary monsters now respect their attack range. Monsters that cannot move no longer receive special permission to attack players from outside their configured range, and they must also have clear line of sight.
- Monster roaming has been improved. Roaming monsters now choose reachable destinations within their intended circular roaming area, reducing cases where they attempt to move somewhere inaccessible.
