Additionally, this season, we gave the community the opportunity to test many aspects of the game before the official Season 5 launch, while also providing early access to new features as they were developed. Players could follow our progress through the #patch-notes channel on Discord, as well as participate in dedicated feedback discussions where they shared suggestions, reported issues, and helped shape the direction of the game.
Thanks to the incredible amount of feedback we received throughout the testing period, we've been able to make hundreds of improvements, balance adjustments, and quality-of-life enhancements. We're excited to finally bring these changes to the live servers. Some of the most notable additions and improvements include:
- PvP Balance: Throughout the test server we've continued refining our new stat scaling and equipment systems, making numerous adjustments to class balance, weapon scaling, finishers, shields, optional damage, and equipment progression. Many of these changes were made in direct response to player testing, with the goal of creating a healthier PvP environment while ensuring equipment upgrades continue to feel meaningful throughout every stage of progression.
- PvE Progression: One of the largest areas of focus has been PvE balance. We've now completed balancing for Level 1-100 content in Ladianes and have shifted our attention toward East Ladianes, Delphiroth, Islands, Turfs, Duct Islands, and Laziel Tower. Rather than simply reducing monster statistics, we've rebuilt much of the progression around expected player equipment and target kill times, creating a smoother difficulty curve between each major area of the game.
- New Features: The test server has also introduced several brand-new systems and interface improvements, including the Pet Daycare, Target Frames, redesigned Quest Tracker, Apprentice Skill AOEs, Training Dummies, monster health bar improvements, and many additional quality-of-life features. These systems have received multiple rounds of iteration throughout testing based on community feedback and bug reports.
- Engine Improvements: We've continued modernizing the game's underlying engine by resolving several long-standing crashes, improving map loading, removing the previous FPS cap, improving overall client stability, and addressing numerous engine-level issues that have existed for years. Because many of these changes affect low-level systems, they've undergone extensive testing throughout the Season 5 test server; this testing will continue into Season 5.
- Website & Launcher: Outside of the game itself, we've also continued improving the new Eonic Games Launcher and Turf Battles website. During testing we've resolved a number of old launcher issues, improved the installation process, expanded website functionality, fixed browser compatibility issues, and continued migrating older pages to the new website design.
- Quality of Life: Beyond the headline features, the test server has received hundreds of smaller improvements across quests, events, localization, user interfaces, monster behavior, progression systems, and gameplay mechanics. While many of these changes may seem small individually, together they contribute to a significantly smoother and more polished experience for Season 5.
A Gentle Reminder
One of the biggest focuses of Season 5 has been rebalancing both PvP and PvE. As a result, players should expect significantly more balance changes than in previous seasons. While we've spent weeks testing and refining these changes with the community, no amount of internal or test server testing can fully replicate the live environment with players.
We encourage everyone to play the class they enjoy the most, rather than choosing a class simply because it appears to be the strongest at launch. As more players reach higher levels, acquire better equipment, and discover new strategies, we'll continue monitoring gameplay and making adjustments where needed to keep every class competitive and enjoyable.
Balance changes are an expected part of Season 5, and community feedback will continue to play a major role in shaping the future of every class, monster, and gameplay system. If you believe something is too strong, too weak, or simply doesn't feel right, we encourage you to share your feedback with us. Together, we can continue improving the game throughout the season.
More Updates!
Tomorrow we'll be publishing another news post covering the various events, contests, and prizes that players can participate in throughout the season, so be sure to keep an eye out for it. As always, Season 5 doesn't end at launch. We'll continue making balance adjustments, quality-of-life improvements, and introducing new content throughout the season based on community feedback and suggestions.
Without further ado, let's take a look at the remaining updates coming in Season 5!
Infestation Event
The Infested Mines are overflowing with monsters, and it is up to you to decide how far to push your luck. Register through the new event system and confirm your participation when prompted. Registration remains saved for up to 30 event cycles, and the event is configured to restart on a randomized 5-7 hour cooldown.
During this solo event, level 300+ players receive 30 minutes inside a new multi-floored dungeon. Every floor is unlocked from the beginning, giving you complete control over your route and strategy. You may head directly to the last floor and defeat the final boss to finish safely, or fight through each floor and survive additional waves to maximize your points. The key is balancing time against your skill level and equipment. If you can comfortably handle more waves, stay and build your score before advancing. However, spending too long on one floor could leave you overwhelmed, or without enough time to defeat the final boss and claim your rewards.
- Defeat a regular monster to earn 1 point.
- Defeat an empowered monster to earn 5 points.
- Defeat the final boss to earn 15 points.
- Dying costs you 10 points.
Know your limits, watch the clock, and decide how much danger your character can handle!

This event will start happening 7 days after the season starts, the same wait period as the Coliseum event. Players will be able to redeem their infestation points for various valuable items, including the new...
