Fame System

Fame System

PvP is allowed in most areas, but discouraged in areas intended for levelling and general item farming. These areas use our Fame System. The Fame System allows you to PK other players, but slightly punishes you for PKing players in non-pvp intended zones. You will know when you are in a non-pvp intended zone when you attack or are attacked by a player and your or their name turns green. When a users name is green, this means they attacked you and you are free to attack back without penalty until their name is no longer green.

Each time you kill a player in a non-pvp intended zone, you will lose some fame. Likewise, when you spend time performing PvE (Player vs Enviornment) tasks and not PKing players in non-pvp intended zones, you will gain fame.

Your overall fame can be measured in one of two ways:

  1. Player Name Color
    • The more red a players name is, the lower their fame level.
    • The more blue a players name is, the higher their fame level.
    • If a player's name is green, this means they attacked you. You are free to PK them without suffering any penalties!
  2. Using the /Stats command in chat.
    • It will tell you your fame level percentage.

 

Your overall fame level will give you either various bonuses, or various punishments.

Low Fame Punishments High Fame Boosts
Up to 10% attack power reduction. Up to 5% attack power increase.
Up to 10% EXP reduction. Up to 5% EXP increase.
Up to 30% increase in potion costs. Up to 5% decrease in potion costs.
Up to 50% drop rate reduction. Up to 5% drop rate increase.
Up to 50% resource rate reduction. Up to 5% resource rate increase.
Players with red names (no matter the shade), can be PKed by other players without penalty.
